After spending all day yesterday organizing the list, then all day today remixing certain pieces to fit certain chapters, I’m entirely overdosed on classical music.
Somebody… ooooo, somebody… can anybodeeeeeeeeee find meeeeeeeeeeeee…. somebody to looooooooove.
Ah, Queen. The perfect antidote. 🙂 I only wish I could actually belt it out, that’d solve it in a jiffy.
As promised, here’s the list of the music I’m using in the IofY soundtrack. If a certain song is repeated for more than one chapter, that means I’m chopping it up and remixing it, cause it was long enough to fit several moods. Also, if more than one song is listed under one chapter, I’m remixing the two together. Okay? Anybody have an suggestions for the final confrontation music? I need something bombastic and impressive, but not Orff, not something expected, like Toccatta and Fugue or anything like that. It needs to be bombastic and impressive, yet unexpected. And I’m lost. I was all happy about the New World Symphony last night, but now it doesn’t sound right.
Arrrgh, must get different music…
If I had a boat… I’d go out on the ocean… and if I had a pony… I’d ride him on my boat… and we could all together… go out on the ocean… I said, me upon my pony on my boat…
Ahh, much better. (Ten points if you can name the song!) I got a cool email from some guy in Costra Rica. He said that he loved the site, and that he reads the Harry Potter books to his sons every night, but when they run out of chapters they like to come to my site. I love hearing stuff like that. I remember I got an email from a Grandpa once saying that he sits down with his two grandchildren whenever the Daily Prophet’s updated and they read through it together. Awww, hallmark moment! But seriously, I love hearing stuff like that. Makes it all worthwhile.
Sorry, I’m not feeling very introspective at the moment so I’m afraid this blog will have to remain silly, lacking in any poetic interests. I just can’t think of anything at the moment, except… Faaaaaaaame… makes a man take things over… FaaaaaAaaame… lets him loose, hard to swallow (what the heck?)
