This has got to be one of the cutest pictures in the world. (Thanks, Sujit) I really hope he was allowed to take the teddy bear – how would they explain to that poor girl that he wasn’t being rude? Or, worse yet, how could the poor guy resist the cuteness?
Max spent the night here last night, sleeping in his castle that we built for him. (He was too big for any cribs on the market, but he still needs to be contained. So my brother built a castle out of MDF, I painted it, and now Max sleeps in it.) I spent the morning with Max trying to teach him his phone number, drawing houses for him, and teaching him how to spell his last name. Last night I taught him how to type an exclamation mark, since he types on his dad’s new Mac laptop (probably the only two year old who plays with a $3k computer, just to watch Shrek and type “blue”.) And this morning we had another scat session, then he made me sing “A Your Adorable” over and over and over and over… He’s so dang cute. I really should record him scatting so I can mix it into a song. That’d be way too funny.
Not much else is going on today. Still got a cold, wooha. Just found out that my brother doesn’t have one of my favorite Squirrel Nut Zippers cds anymore, which is rather sad. He used to have it, and I was counting on it since I suddenly got one of their songs stuck in my head. Oh well. I might actually have to buy a copy of the cd for myself.
