Hurrah! I finished a lovely little link graphic so people can now donate to my Meg-a-thon online via PayPal. It’s quick, it’s easy, and it can all be handled through your credit card. Life just couldn’t get any better than that, right?

Now I just need to call the bank tomorrow, verify my account, and the $1,000 donation limit will be lifted. Then people can donate as much as they want. Yay!

I’ve been hard at work on the donation gifts all day. I started a new experiment – Tea Art. It’s all organic watercolors. It turned out really well, I’m quite happy with it. I created three different Tea Artworks at $250 sizes. I’m hoping the scanner will agree to work so I can scan them and put the pictures up on the site.

And, last Sunday I was able to work on a new acrylic painting for the $500 level. It’s my first-ever self portrait in paint. 🙂 I was able to take a picture of it with my brother’s digital camera, but it didn’t pick the colors up well at all. So, if you’re curious, you can see it here, but please believe me when I say the colors are much brighter. Also, I used my favorite form of acrylic painting, making it all textured so the painting seems a little bit more 3D. It’s especially apparent in my curly hair. 🙂 I’m hoping to get a better picture of it up as soon as possible.

I had a few more topics I wanted to address, but I’m far too tired. Does art fulfill my “dignified blog” promise per last night? I think so, so I’m all paid up. 🙂 Good night!
