I actually took a nap today, which I think is scary. I never take naps. The last nap I had doesn’t even count since I was doped up on serious (prescription) painkillers. It was unavoidable, I was so tired my eyes burned. I collapsed on my bed and fell asleep almost instantly – a practice I’m really not used to. It always takes me at least an hour before I fall asleep. I went to sleep around 5:30, so it was still light out, and was planning on getting back up at 6:30. But I slept through an alarm I set, and was rather scared for a minute when I woke up and it was really dark. I’m not used to that. The alarm registered in my dream, so I knew I had missed it, but the darkness made me think I had accidentally slept too long and the nap had turned into an extremely early bed time. I rolled out of bed and saw that it was only 7:30. Phew!

I’m still really tired, but at least my eyes don’t burn. My brain never woke up this morning, I think, after only four hours of sleep. I finally fell asleep around 4, but then had to wake up at 8 for church. (I can’t wait until January, when we switch to going to church at 10am. Woohoo!) When I first woke up from the nap I was *extremely* forgetful, to the point that when I was listening to Steven tell me something, I forgot what he said halfway through his sentence. I had to go, “Wait a minute, what did you just say?” I listened to it the first time, it registered, it was fine, then poof, gone.

So I probably won’t be blogging again tonight (or this morning. whatever.) around 2. That wasn’t good last night, but there was nothing I could do about it. Bad stomach ache.

Sujit put the picture up on his blog that my brother Kevin took of us at the back parking lot of the local movie theatre. We were even sitting-on/leaning-against the back of my Dad’s teeny white sports car. Honestly, the picture didn’t turn out as badly as I suspected – I always think I look doofy in snapshots. It’s my stupid nose. I’m so white that when a flash goes off it washes out my face. Thus, I lose the definition and shape of my nose as far as the camera’s concerned. It *never* fails. The only way to fix the problem is I have to do a three quarters angle shot, which is nearly impossible to pull off whilst taking a snapshot. The angle’s are too weird. So, my nose looks flat. Oh well. It could have been *a lot* worse, trust me. At least Sujit said nice things in his blog. 😀

I am really sick of getting junk mail. Just thought you should know.

I’m out of ideas now because my brain has decided to shut down again. I may go do something mindless for a while until it decides to come back on.
