I kind of forgot to blog, so this may be short as it’s very late and I’m very tired.
I got to go out to lunch to Sweetwater Tavern today. I ate a delightful filet mignon, but my stomach is definitely going through that phase. I was just barely able to finish it. The last bite put me in agony. It was the first time in a while that I’ve actually nearly choked on something just because my mouth got so dry and I forgot how to swallow. I couldn’t spit it out, I just had to suffer through it and keep trying. I hate that. It makes the process of eating really annoying and makes me wish I could just skip it. It always hurts. Argh.
I spent the afternoon reading and researching more real estate. I like that game, but I think I’m done. I’ve found as many estates as I’ll find and I really don’t need to put too much detail into this proposal. I think I’ll add information about the houses in France and Pennsylvania, and I just found an absolutely stunning property in South Africa that’s completely perfect. I was wondering what prices are like outside Johannesburg – I can get a 5 star hotel with 54 bedrooms and full facilities for only $2,000,000. And, it’s exquisitely set on a wildlife preserve/national park. It’s so gorgeous! So I’ll definitely add that one to the proposal.
AOL League Bowling Night was, as always, tonight. 🙂 (Okay, technically last night since it’s past midnight, but you should be used to that by now.) I did really well! I think having men around helps for some odd reason. Last week I was surrounded by estrogen and I bowled the worst games I’ve played in a long time. The men were back this time and I met my goal! The first game; 82. Third game; 94. But the second game, that one I even astounded myself. I got 120!! During that game one of the guys who’s been a substitute on our team before, Mark, came over to where I was sitting. He grabbed my hands, looked me in the eye and said, “I’ve been watching the game, you’re kicking serious ass!” Hehe, I love when that happens. A guy grabs both your hands, looks you in the eye, and you’re expecting something serious, then they come out and say something like that. But he was being completely earnest, it was great. He’s a really funny guy, it’s been great having him around. We decided he was my good luck charm and I just need him around so I can bowl a better game.
So that was my triumphant night with the geeks from AOL. I bowled several strikes, tons of spares, I was on fire. It was great. 🙂
But now I’m really, *really* tired. I’m going to try to make it to Tae Kwon Do tomorrow, but I think schedules may get in the way. Oh well. Good night for now.
