I’m safe and sound – my flight over the Atlantic went just fine. I’ve been having a lovely time over here, mostly talking with friends. Already I’ve gone to a few art museums, visited some lovely parks, and for the past two days I’ve had a wonderful time entertaining the most charming 3-year-old boy this side of the Atlantic.
Anyway. It’s 5:21am over here. *sigh* My body hasn’t been doing too well as far as sleep’s concerned. I don’t think it’s jetlag exactly, more like long-term exhaustion because I wasn’t sleeping well at home. The other night I slept for twelve hours straight. This time, I fell asleep at 9:00pm and woke up at 3:30am. Whoops. I’m sure I’ll probably fall asleep around one o’clock in the afternoon today, but as for right now I’m wide awake. Thank goodness for broadband!
Thankfully my only plan for the day is a friend coming over to watch movies, so if I fall asleep I think he’ll understand.
Hmm, maybe I’ll go play the Sims for a while. I’m not used to waking up this early, normally I’m going to bed right about now… 🙂
