Apparently, fate has decided that it’s supposed to be October 1st that’ll be the day of great achievement, or maybe even October 4th. I called the man I was supposed to meet at Ferrari this afternoon to find out that the poor fellow had to call in sick this morning. Uh oh. So my meeting has been postponed until he’s feeling better. It actually turned out to be a blessing in disguise, as I ended up getting a bit sick myself this afternoon, thanks to the mono. I still haven’t quite gotten over it all the way. I’m just glad the meeting got postponed, because I started to get real dizzy and incoherent right around the time I would have been behind the wheel of that car that’s worth almost as much as my house. That wouldn’t have been such a good thing.
As you can see, I’m still awake and it’s just past four in the morning. Yup, you guessed it, still not feeling well. What am I up to at this hour? Watching Mystery Science Theater 3000, trying to overcome a rotten mood, and hoping that maybe – just maybe – ya’ll will do something nice for me.
See, I need a favor. A bunch of my friends have been getting these iPods from FreeiPods.com, this site where you sign up for a free trial offer for something, refer five friends, then you supposedly get a free iPod. I didn’t want to try it before because I totally thought it was a hoax, but I now know five people who have gotten iPods from this thing. And now, they have the really amazing 20gig iPods worth about $300! Also, I didn’t really think five people would be willing to help me, but those five friends kept telling me to post this on my blog. Well, I succumbed. I really, really want one, so, would you folks be so kind as to help me out? Please oh please?
It doesn’t cost anything. All you do is sign up with the site, sign up for two weeks of free movie rentals from Blockbuster (and you can cancel it at the end of the two weeks and not pay a thing), and then ta da! I get an iPod, and you’re on your way to getting your own too!
I know that sounds really selfish, and I certainly don’t want to be selfish. So to solve this little problem, I’ll promise you something in return. Do you want an iPod too? Once you help me out, I’ll gladly help you out too. I have enough addresses that we can get this all worked out and then we can all have iPods. Won’t that be wonderful? 🙂 So now all I need are five volunteers and we can get to work on this little project.
If you’re a kind-hearted soul who wouldn’t mind getting free movie rentals for a few weeeks and a free brand new iPod worth $250 to $300, then post a comment to tell me you’re signing up (that’s real important, so we can keep count), and then click here. It would really mean a lot to me, I’d be eternally grateful, and I’ll love you forever and ever. I mean that, darling. Hehe.
The cool thing is, they also have the cute little iPod minis, so if you’ve always wanted a bright pink mp3 player, it can be yours! Hehe. Believe me, I debated for quite a while whether I wanted the cute pink one or the 20gig one. Ultimately I went for substance over style. Although, maybe I can figure out a way to get a pink one too… We shall see. 🙂
Anyway, MST3k is over, I’ve kept myself occupied long enough, and I think it’s time to try and sleep. Thanks for your help, people!
hmmm… are you sure this isn’t a scam? i don’t want to sign up and suddenly find that i have to enter a credit card number that gets charged $25 a month and I can’t stop it…
I signed up! 😀
