I’m back home from the hospital, again, only this time I’ve been sent home prepared with all sorts of back-up’s, plans, appointments, and most importantly of all, lots of medication to make sure that not only am I in as little pain as possible, but also that my all-important throat stays clear, allowing me to breathe. That’s always a good thing.

So far everything seems to be going alright. I got home about three, four hours ago, something like that and I’ve just been relaxing since then. A big box of toys arrived today from eBay, so I’ve had lots of fun new things to distract myself with. I’ll tell you more about the big toy purchases later. But for right now I just wanted to let you all know that I’m home, I’m safe, and I don’t think I’ll be needing any more ambulance rides for a while. Huzzah.

I’ll be cutting this short now because I have ice cream to eat before it melts, and then I think I’m going to tuck myself up in my own perfectly lovely comfortable bed and sleep for as long as I can. Doesn’t that sound heavenly? It does to me… a whole night’s sleep without being woken up by beeping IVs or nurses coming in to squeeze the crap out of my arm with those silly vitals machines. Just me, my bed, surrounded by my own things, resting my tired head on my own pillow. Ahhh, lovely. 🙂

Before I go, I want to say a big thank you and give out big hugs to all you lovely people who have sent me emails and comments and IMs and stuff – I really appreciate it. You’ve all been incredibly sweet and as always, I love you for it.

    More later, I promise. 🙂
