Andrea Pininfarina died today! He was the head of the world-famous Italian car design group that shared his family name, and grandson of the design company’s founder, Battista Pininfarina. Mr Pininfarina was killed in an accident when the scooter he was driving was hit by a car on the outskirts of Turin early this morning. This is such a terrible loss for Italy, for the automotive world, for everyone who loved, respected, and adored Pininfarina’s legacy. It’s such an enormous loss – he was only 51 years old.
