Argh. I got barely any sleep last night. Finally got into bed after I posted that rather scary blog last night, but woke up repeatedly until finally, at 5:30am, I woke up and couldn’t go back to sleep. I laid around for a while, then ate some cereal, then laid back down and watched part of ‘My Fair Lady’ on DVD (thank you, laptop!). About an hour ago I started playing a really stupid yet addictive online game, (Insaniquarium) then I thought I’d use an online medical encyclopedia to look up one of my latest symptoms in the continuing saga of Heather’s Cold. It’s been worrying me, but thankfully it’s pretty normal according to Saint Francis Care. Man, that site would be like heaven for hypochondriacs. I read about all sorts of fun stuff, including the odds of me getting the various problems I’ve had. Did you know only 2 in 10,000 people get osteomyelitis (a bone infection)? And only 10 to 15 in 100,000 get ulcerative colitis (icky complicated tummy aches). Cool, eh? I think I should go buy a lottery ticket, if I were into that. I wish I could find a psychological encyclopedia like this online, that’d be way too much fun.
See what this cold has brought me too? I’m too dense to do anything constructive, so I sit around feeding digital fishies and reading about strange diseases. I’m *bored*! And yet my attention span is nil. What a quandry. 🙂
Good news! I got the violin I really wanted! The one with the ebony tailpiece and all that good stuff. Woohoo! Now I can sell the other one my mom got and it’ll pay for both of them. We’ll probably end up making money off the deal. But you know what makes it even funnier? I ended up not getting a flute, and that’s what I was looking for in the first place. Anyway, here’s the violin. I’m all happy about it, so yay.
