I forgot to mention the cutest thing from yesterday!

Around 2:00 yesterday I went to the movie theatre to buy my tickets for the party, figuring the 7:05 showing of Harry Potter might be sold out if I waited to buy my tickets until that evening. I got in line and one person ahead of me was a little tiny girl, around probably two or three years old, waiting with her mother. As soon as I got in line, the little girl started smiling and her eyes went real wide. She pulled on her Mom’s pant leg and said, “Look, Mommy, it’s Dorothy!” She started pointing at me and kept talking, “Look, Mommy, how pretty! It’s *Dorothy*!” The Mom looked at me and said, “It must be your hair.”

The little girl kept smiling at me and waving occasionally. After a minute she turned to her Mom again and said, “What do you think her name is?” The Mom replied, “I don’t know, you should go ask her.” The girl walked over to me, looked up at me with those big eyes and asked, “What’s your name?” I said, “I’m Heather, what’s your name?” She smiled and immediately said, “I’m Nancy!” Then she turned and trotted back to her Mother. The entire time we were waiting in line she kept staring at me, the smile never leaving her face. She’d wave occasionally and I’d wave back. It was really funny, and way too cute.

I’ve never been told I look like Judy Garland before, because I don’t, so I’m wondering if maybe there’s another Dorothy I don’t know about. But the girl was certainly enthralled with me. It’s the funniest thing that’s ever happened to me waiting in line. She was just so cute! I wish I could have taken a picture of her in her cute little dress and pink sweater.

More tonight, because right now I have Tae Kwon Do to go to. 🙂
