I just *love* toying with Google. 🙂 Only one day into my experiment and already I’m starting to show up. No one’s come here yet that I know of off a “Richard Branson” search. However, I did a search myself for “Richard Branson+blog.” I’m already result number six! How does that work? Does some Google God look out for me? Hmm, what should I start wishing for now?

Z4 Z4 Z4 Z4 Z4…

Come on, chant with me! 🙂 Hehe.

But seriously. I’m glad my experiment is going so well already. I’m still working on trying to get myself on the front page for a straight “Richard Branson” search, but I think that will take a little while longer. I’ve started reading Sir Branson’s book that I got yesterday – only three chapters into it and guess what? There have been at least half a dozen statements in there that are just about word-for-word doppelgangers of what I wrote in the first business proposals. Theories to live by, mostly, philosophies, that sort of thing. But even business ideals and ways schools should operate. I feel so good about this project, I really want it to work. If only I could capture his imagination then maybe, just maybe, this wouldn’t be such a long shot after all.

I’ve decided to do some more research and polish out the proposal with some information on real estate for sale. I’ve collected information and photos of a few beautiful locations in France. They seem to have far more grandiose real estate available than any other place I’ve found so far. I did find a lovely little resort in Zanzibar, complete with its own stretch of phenomenal white-sandy beach. But it’s in Zanzibar. I’m not sure we’ll need that, and besides, it wouldn’t be as good of a port for an Asian tour as, say, New Zealand. 🙂 I think I’ve figured it out. For South America we could run a port out of Brazil or the Caribbean, then use a retired cruise ship to sail along the eastern coast. Then, for Asia and Australia, we can have a lovely port in New Zealand. I’m sure the New Zealanders would love us, so it’d all be fabulous. Plus, who wouldn’t want to study in Middle Earth? 🙂

Then, just a few more places to dot Europe and North America, then we’re all set. Eight campuses and we’ve covered the globe. I found a lovely Scottish baronial mansion outside Glasgow, listed in last month’s issue of Architectural Digest. I’m thinking of calling the information line to get details.

It’s so much fun looking at real estate such as this. Maybe my hobby will turn out useful after all. 🙂

As for today’s activities, Dad and I took Mom out to see the Audi. Turns out that it seems to have considerable hail damage that has eaten away at the paint, which could easily lead to rust. Not good. Sigh. That means the hunt has to start all over again. That’s not a pleasant thought. Back to chanting!

Z4. Richard Branson. Z4. Richard Branson. Z4. Richard Branson…

Maybe one day all this positive thinking will pay off. At least I should keep telling myself that, right?
