Before I mention anything else, I have a question. Someone’s signed my guestbook using the name Richard Branson. Now, I’m not expecting this to be the same Richard Branson who’s the President of Virgin Group. *But*, that said, if your name is Richard Branson and you really are in Australia, email me. I’d like to get to know you, Mr. Branson. 🙂 Maybe, with your help, I can start the Richard Branson Coalition to Persuade Richard Branson to Accept My Proposal. Doesn’t that sound like fun? You could be the first member! Wouldn’t that make you proud? 🙂
Today has been kind of dull. I didn’t do much because my stomach hurt quite badly. I helped decorate the house for the holidays a bit, but that didn’t last long. Something grand did happen this afternoon, though. Remember how I mentioned about a month ago that my big screen TV was dying? The replacement TV arrived today! And it’s bigger. 😀 Fifty full inches of couch potato goodness. To celebrate the TV my Dad and I bought Star Wars Episode II on DVD then watched it this evening. We ended up watching it until midnight, and then my brother and I stayed up even later to watch the special features. (Hence why tonight’s blog is so late.) The acting in that movie is just sssooo bad. Ewan McGregor’s accent was at least of some comfort, but my goodness. It’s a nice movie to have, though. I wouldn’t be a proper Star Wars fan without it. 🙂
I ended up making dinner tonight because the alternative was left-overs, and Steven and I decided that we wanted pizza to celebrate the TV. Rather than ordering out I made it from scratch and oooooh, it was so perfect! I’ve never made pizza that looked so pretty. 🙂 I even went the extra mile and sprinkled tarragon and oregano on top so it looked all spiffy. The crust wasn’t as perfect, taste-wise, as I would have liked. It wasn’t thin enough. But other than that it was fabulous! The sauce added just enough kick and was just the right consistency. Wanna see? I took a picture of it because one of my brother’s friends sent him a digital camera, so there was one handy. Why not take a picture of my latest culinary victory? 🙂 Click here. (The quality isn’t that great – the camera’s kinda old.)
I should cook more often, I think I’m getting the hang of it.
Sorry this one ended up kind of short, but I’m exceedingly tired at the moment. I promise I’ll try to write something more entertaining tomorrow. Pleasant dreams, good night!
