I’m alive, no worries. I went to see Dr. Carroll yesterday and he went through a very thorough neuro exam, plus he ordered an MRI. I had that done tonight and Dr. Carroll will have the results in about 72 hours. I’m still not feeling great, but at least my eyes are the same size and I did manage to get quite a bit of sleep last night. Actually, I probably got too much sleep, but oh well. If I can’t sleep tonight I do have some sleeping pills to knock me out.

That’s really all there is to report right about now. Today has been pretty short. Even though I fell asleep at 10 last night, I tried to wake up repeatedly today and kept falling back asleep. I woke up at 10am, got up for a while, then laid back down and out I went. Did that again at noon, then again at one, and I finally had to get out of bed at 3:00 so I could get something done before having to go out for my MRI. I had my first experience driving in hideously bad 495 traffic, and of course I would do that while driving the Z4. I think I handled it fine. I didn’t get frustrated, didn’t get close to hitting anybody, even had to avoid a few people. And, most importantly, I didn’t get stressed out. I was just incredibly bored, and really really hungry. It took an hour to go approximately 10 miles, that’s how bad it was. Can you say ‘parking lot’?

Now I’m sitting here, watching The Cosby Show, taking a break from looking through old Big Band records. I’m going to hook up my Dad’s phonograph to my computer so I can record all of my swing/Big Band collection onto Mp3. I think I’m going to need a new hard drive since my media hard drive is nearly full. Thankfully Steve will have a spare 20gig hard drive pretty soon, since he’s upgrading. Hoorah! Oh the joys of having a fellow geek in the house.

I’m hungry again. I think I’m going to go find a snack.
