I’ve had a rather strange day. I spent the early afternoon washing 14 pounds of marble rocks. They’re for the centerpieces for that wedding on saturday. I hauled them around, poured water over them, hauled them around some more, etc. I got a nice workout but my back’s a bit sore now.

After the great rock adventure a friend came over to help me hang up my punching bag. I was all excited and started beating the snot out of it when I suddenly realized it was bending the hook it was hanging on. We hauled the bag back down, which was rather disappointing. I was looking forward to beating something up.

A bit of good news; I’m going to get a prosthetic toe! Woohoo! Christmas comes early to Megger’s house. Haha. But seriously, I’m getting a prosthetic toe. It’s so I can wear open-toed shoes and things without having to deal with all the funny looks I get. I’ll even be able to paint the toenail! It’ll be so strange to look at it after not having a normal looking toe for six years. I’ve even forgotten what my left toe looked like. That may sound silly, but it’s hard to mentally look at my right foot, mirror it, and say to myself “Hey, look, my left foot was actually normal once.” It’s just always been this strange, marred, deformed thing. Now, at least when I wear sandals, it’ll look normal again. I’m looking forward to that.

That’s about it for now. I’m off to try and do something constructive.
