I’ve had a rather strange day. I spent the early afternoon washing 14 pounds of marble rocks. They’re for the centerpieces for that wedding on saturday. I hauled them around, poured water over them, hauled them around some more, etc. I got a nice workout but my back’s a bit sore now.
After the great rock adventure a friend came over to help me hang up my punching bag. I was all excited and started beating the snot out of it when I suddenly realized it was bending the hook it was hanging on. We hauled the bag back down, which was rather disappointing. I was looking forward to beating something up.
A bit of good news; I’m going to get a prosthetic toe! Woohoo! Christmas comes early to Megger’s house. Haha. But seriously, I’m getting a prosthetic toe. It’s so I can wear open-toed shoes and things without having to deal with all the funny looks I get. I’ll even be able to paint the toenail! It’ll be so strange to look at it after not having a normal looking toe for six years. I’ve even forgotten what my left toe looked like. That may sound silly, but it’s hard to mentally look at my right foot, mirror it, and say to myself “Hey, look, my left foot was actually normal once.” It’s just always been this strange, marred, deformed thing. Now, at least when I wear sandals, it’ll look normal again. I’m looking forward to that.
That’s about it for now. I’m off to try and do something constructive.
Did you really get a prosthetic toe? Where did you get it from? Did they make it to match your toe on your other foot? I want one too
Hi I’m an actor who will be appearing in a low-buget indie film and I need a Prosthetic toe.

Hi I’m thirteen years old and I got my big toe cut off in spoke wheel when I was 2 years old. I’ve always wanted to wear open toe shoes and walk around bare footed without feeling ashamed about it.Do they make the prothetic toe look identical to the other foot?Where do you get it from? How much would it cost?
I am 57 years old and am very interested in a prothetic toe. Any information would be greatly appreciated
I am oddly excited to find out that other people have the same problem as I do (I am missing my middle 3 toes due to an accident when I was 2 years old)… and it’s fixable??? I must find out more about this! If anyone has more information… or has actually had it DONE please, please email me and let me know! It would be greatly appreciate, thank you!!

I have a toe that looks like a velociraptors and will be getting it hacked off soon. I am a professional toe wrestler and I had an op on my ingrown toenail where they ripped off the bed. The toe flattened out while the nail grew thin and long with a pointy end. It also went a greenish tinge. I would like to know if a prosthetic toe is comfortable or not as I will hope to return to toe wrestling.
I honestly cannot believe that there so many of us out there, and even some who lost their toes the same way I did….in bicycle spokes at age two. I lost the big toe and part of the two toes next to it. Is there really a way I can wear open toed sandals without having people stare at my feet. Will I really be able to paint my toenails. Tell me more. What kind of cost am I looking at, and who performs this miracle.
