My head’s hurting really bad and the percocet should be kicking in pretty soon, so this is going to be short. Just wanted to let everybody know that Isabel has arrived but somehow it has managed to miss my humble little abode. So far anyway. No power outages, no major storms, just some rain and a touch of wind. Kind of funny, really – proves that if you plan hard enough and even make a party out of a natural disaster, that it won’t even happen and all of your plans will come to naught. Pretty funny, really.
Amber also arrived today, safe and sound. We spent the day watching movies – ‘The Bourne Identity’, ‘Lilo & Stitch’, and ‘The Other Side of Heaven’. They were all lovely. Tomorrow I’m going to that meeting with Dean, so my Mom’s going to entertain Amber while I’m away. I know it’s tacky to leave house-guests and all, but I have no choice. Has to be done, out of my hands, all that jazz.

The only movie I’ve seen of those three was the Bourne Identity, which I thought was pretty fun. You just gotta love chase scenes with Minis.
