Guess what kind of marathon TCM is running tonight. Go on, guess. Old vampire movies! Tee hee. It’s an omen, it’s got to be, because you know what? Count Dracula called Translating Drew today and said that the 16th would be fine for them. I’m staying up late tonight so that I can call Dean in France to tell him so he can book my airline ticket and we can finally solidify the plans with the Count. Cool, isn’t it? So I’m sitting here, so appropriately passing the time by watching ‘Mark of the Vampire’, starring none other than the father of all vampire movie stars, Bela Lugosi. I’ll be flying out Tuesday afternoon and I’ll arrive in Berlin Wednesday morning. Cool, eh? I’m feeling much better now and far less stressed out.
If I get to become Countess Dracula, Princess Kretzulesco, I really want a puppy named Bela. A big fluffy samoyed puppy. Mmhmm. Granted, it would be more appropriate to get a bloodhound puppy, but my sense of humor only goes so far. 🙂 I really want that samoyed, dang it. Or, wouldn’t it be even cuter to get a pair of puppies, name one Bela and the other Lugosi? That might just be *too* cute, though. But I really really want one, you know.
A friend of mine came over this evening to help me rework an evening gown so that I can take it with me just in the off chance I have to go to some formal event (a girl should always be prepared.) We’re going to finish it up tomorrow – I have to go buy some velvet so we can make a lovely little wrap/shrug/jacket thing for it. See, the dress has no sleeves, and that’s just not kosher, so we’re going to fix it up. It’ll actually be far more sophisticated with what we’re going to do to it. It’ll be fantastic. Utterly fantastic.
I think I’m going to sit back now and finish watching this silly little movie. Fun, fun, fun! I love all these little signs and omens that keep cropping up all over. It’s just too dang funny, if you ask me.
yay!! I’m glad things are going good! I had my youth group pray for you last night, for your health and your ‘project’, so hopefully thoes prayers will stay with you for a while! And now i’m in the mood for a vampire movie. hehe *runs off to rent*
