Wanna see the absolute cutest thing on the planet? Ever? And I do seriously mean it’s the cutest thing in the history of the world. What is it? My new watch! A couple weeks ago, Mike and I were in Reston Town Center, going to dinner at Panera, when I wandered into this strange little eclectic store tucked between a Banana Republic and the M&S Grill. What first attracted me to the store was a set of Shag Art napkins that caught my eye as I was walking by. I wandered into the store and saw some super cute stuff. A few days later, we went to the store again, and that time, I saw it. Sitting right on the front counter in a lovely little glass box was my watch. It was calling to me, singing my name, begging me to buy into its insatiable cuteness
When you went on about the cuteness of the watch and then I looked at the picture, I thought you’d gone insane. The whole digital faux-analog face thing was all I saw, and it really doesn’t do anything for me. But when you described the band and I looked at the other pictures, it all made sense. Very cool idea, but the band would be so much better with a real watch face on it. 😉
After a note from Heather and a closer look at the watch face pictures, I hereby retract my questioning of her sanity on those grounds. It is indeed a real analog watch face! I’m not sure I really like the squareness, but that’s not nearly as bad as digital faux-analogness! 🙂

I haven’t been home for the past month so i haven’t been able to catch up – but you mentioning that struck me as odd since i went into the ER on tuesday morning (like 4am) and ended up getting my gal bladder out that day. maybe its a world-wide galbladder conspiracy! 😮
Oh! Duh. Just read the last entry! did they take it out or do anything for it? When they were taking mine out they discovered that it was infected which is why i was exceptionally sick – plus the infection could have spread and even killed me if it hadn’t gotten caught. Make sure they fix you up! <3
