Dear friends and long-time readers,
Heather asked me to write on her behalf today seeing as how she’s currently in the recovery room following her surgical procedure. Firstly, just to let you all know, everything went fine and she’ll likely be discharged to go home for her recovery later on today. That’s always good to hear!
It’s a little weird for me to be writing on Heather’s behalf today. She’s usually so eloquent in her blogs that it’s a tough act to follow. She told me that she thought of me when she decided that she wanted someone to let her friends and readers know that she was fine. She jokingly said that I should take the opportunity to sing her praises and say nothing but good things. Well that goes without say!
Knowing Heather as I do it’s hard not to say good things about her. She’s a wonderful person and spending even a little bit of time with her it’s easy to see why I and so many others say that. She’s a lovely person and a wonderful friend and those of us who have been lucky to know her will always be appreciative of that fact. Her relationships with her friends are all unique in their own ways but she sees them as being one and the same.
I don’t know what else to write about. I hope that you all who come here to this page leave with a lighter heart knowing that she’s done with her first of several surgeries. She’ll be back to blog soon enough and regale us with tales of her adventures and we’ll see if she can work in her favorite quote from her favorite movie which goes, “Really? That happens to me all the time!”
Here’s wishing you a speedy recovery Heather!
Heather,
I’m glad to hear the operation went well and that you’re doing well in recovery. I’ve had you in my thoughts and prayers for a long time now and it’s good to finally see them pay off. Your further health, happiness, and well-being mean the world to a lot of people, myself included, and I hope all three will continue to maintain and grow. I wish you a strong and speedy recovery.
With all my best,
Jordan
Dear Heather. So glad to read Jay’s comment that you are on the mend and soon to be home. Thinking of you and wishing you all the best for a speedy recovery and I’m sure you’ll soon be back to normal. Lots of hugs from Australia.
