I promised ages ago that I’d tell you about the fabulous weekend I had all those many weeks ago, and now it’s been so long that not only do I have one fabulous weekend to tell you about, I have ANOTHER even more fabulous weekend that needs blogging about. And yet life has decided to go crazy these past few weeks. As of two/three weeks ago, I had too much time on my hands and not enough to do. Now it seems like I’m constantly going, going, going. I’m not complaining, it’s just that eesh, I don’t even have time to slow down long enough to write a proper blog. I’ve had film makers interview me, spent the day with the fine folks at Ferrari, met some absolutely astonishingly wonderful people, business is taking off all of a sudden, and now I’ve just flown to Ohio for my brother Tim’s 30th birthday. It’s been nothing but Go, Go, Go! Insanity, pure insanity… but at least it’s such happy insanity that I haven’t stopped grinning from ear to ear for, oh, about five days now. 🙂
Yet again, I’m being forced to be rude and I’m going to have to ask your forgiveness – alas, I cannot share all of my good news right now. Right now I need to go to sleep so I can wake up early tomorrow to help prepare all of the birthday festivities. But I did at least want to post a little something to tell everyone that, despite some updates in the world of sickliness, there has also been an explosion of happiness lately. I don’t know what it is, but apparently the producers of The Heather Show have decided to be kind to me at long last. And isn’t that wonderful? 🙂
One last particularly random note before I head off to slumberland – is anyone else addicted to the jingle from the new BP commercials? I can’t get it out of my head!! I just love the jaunty little tune, and the animation style is oh so terribly cute. I tried to find out what song was used for the jingle, but I was so disappointed when I heard that it was just a short snippet of a jingle commissioned by the ad agency. How sad is that? Now not only do I have a jingle stuck in my head, but there’s no hope of expanding that constantly recurring 30 seconds of happy song stuff into a full length proper tune. It’s terrible! The reason I’m bringing this up is because I’d like to announce that I’m going to publicly beg British Petroleum to commission a full-length version of their new theme song and make it available to the public. Or at least to those of us who can’t get that freaking song out of our heads. You hear me, BP? I’m going crazy with all your ‘Say Hey’s, and it’s about time you add a few more lyrics to your infectious song before I lose my sanity. 🙂
Alright, enough random silliness. Off to bed with me! I promise that soon I shall divulge all the happy events of the recent weeks, once I’ve had a chance to slow down for a minute or two. Hope you’re having a fabulous time as well, and here’s to hoping that May turns out as beautifully as April has.
Glad to hear that everything is going so well! In order for my head to have room for “say hey”s, I’d have to get rid of all of Target’s “Small is tremendous”es that now account for 70% of my brain usage asfar as I can tell.
